The Basics
- Food baskets: up to a week’s supply of groceries based on family size
- Utility assistance
- Prescription assistance
- Gas vouchers and bus tokens for medical or job related appointments (must be able to confirm)
- Clothing and household needs: clean, gently used and seasonal clothing and shoes, bedding, and small household items
All services are considered on a case by case basis and eligibility is determined by HNS guidelines, service area, and availability of funds and resources.
HNS service area is Thompson School District boundaries and Berthoud addresses.
Additional services, including:
- Eyeglass program
- Holiday programs
- Chilson Recreation Center reduced passes and/or scholarships (Loveland only)
- Educational programs: parenting skills
- Shelter programs (families with minor aged children only)
- Advocacy and navigation assistance
- Special programs for children: Birthday closet, Christmas store
