Our mission is simple.
At HNS, we work to stabilize households and prevent further crises through the provision of basic need services for people that are challenged by the effects of poverty or situational crisis.
House of Neighborly Service (HNS) is a Christian non-profit organization established in 1961 by the Loveland Council of Churches and a second location in Berthoud opened in 1989, with the united vision to faithfully serve the people in our communities.
The programs at HNS encourage self-sufficiency and self-reliance by helping individuals and families to access resources available in our community. By providing a multitude of basic services in one location [the Life Center] there is greater opportunity to access valuable resources.
Through all these years our vision remains the same: Together, we are creating a kinder, more neighborly community through help, resources, and hope.
